Anthropic has launched its first major brand campaign for Claude, called "Keep Thinking," positioning the AI chatbot as a tool for problem solvers tackling global challenges. The multimillion-dollar campaign, created by agency Mother, marks Anthropic's entry into paid advertising as it competes with rivals like OpenAI and Perplexity.
The campaign targets developers, researchers, and business owners, with Claude primarily used for work-related tasks including coding, research, and education. Anthropic reports over 300,000 business customers, up from fewer than 1,000 two years ago, as the $183 billion company seeks differentiation in the competitive AI market.
Media placements include live sports broadcasts, Netflix, Hulu, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, podcasts, and influencer partnerships. The campaign features an optimistic tone, suggesting AI can address complex problems from medical diagnoses to education gaps.
