CNBC reports:
Comcast posted mixed fourth-quarter results, beating earnings expectations but narrowly missing on revenue, as competition continued to weigh on its core broadband business.
The company lost 181,000 domestic broadband customers and 245,000 pay TV subscribers, though this was partly offset by strong growth in mobile, which added 364,000 customers. Net income fell sharply year on year, while overall revenue rose just over 1 per cent.
Media revenue grew, helped by advertising and NBA rights, and Peacock added 3 million subscribers despite wider losses. Theme parks performed strongly, while film studio revenue declined.
