The Media Leader reports:
Vivendi, parent company of Havas, Canal+, and Lagardère, reported a 5.8% year-on-year organic growth for H1 2023, with revenues reaching €9.05bn. Lagardère and Canal+ showed strong performances with 10.1% and 3.2% organic growth, respectively, while Havas had a slight increase.
The group's inorganic growth was 92.7%, largely due to Lagardère's consolidation. Group Ebita rose by 13.5%. Havas' revenue was €1.31bn, with robust performances in creative and media divisions, except in North America. Canal+ had a turnover of €3.1bn, with international subscriber growth. Despite a net loss, Lagardère's revenue increased by 10.1%.
Vivendi plans to list Havas, Canal+, and Lagardère separately later this year.
