Mars has announced a global agency review for media, ecommerce, social media, and influencer marketing following its proposed $35.9 billion acquisition of Kellanova in August. Spending $1.7 billion on media in 2023, Mars aims to ensure robust brand-building partnerships.
Mediacom, part of GroupM, is the current global media partner, and incumbent agencies, including Kellanova’s Publicis Media, are invited to participate in the RFP.
Known for brands like M&M’s and Pedigree, Mars expects both the agency review and Kellanova acquisition to conclude in 2025, enhancing its position in snacks, pet care, and food sectors.
