Beiersdorf has selected OMD as its exclusive media agency for Europe and North America, effective January 2024, after a competitive pitch process. The revamped media model emphasises digital expertise, data, and technology, aiming for enhanced efficiency, speed, transparency, and automation.
While OMD previously managed Beiersdorf's media in the U.S., parts of Africa, Australia, and Europe, it is poised to absorb European roles formerly held by Dentsu and WPP. Beiersdorf, behind brands like Nivea and Eucerin, recorded sales of $9.6 billion last year.
This appointment marks a notable win for OMD, which also secured deals with Vans and Under Armour earlier this year.
