ISBA is transitioning Origin into a separate entity, Origin Media Measurement Limited, resulting in a notable decrease in ISBA's income. However, the substantial £52m funding dwarfs ISBA's annual subscription income, emphasising advertisers' significant investment in Origin.
Launched in 2019, Origin aims to standardise cross-media campaign measurements. Despite funding challenges and broadcaster disagreements, it represents a crucial advancement in media measurement, involving contributions from various industry stakeholders.
