Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, is seeking to raise $10 billion in funding at a valuation of $75 billion. Existing investors, including Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Valor Equity Partners, are in talks to participate. xAI, a competitor to OpenAI, previously raised $6 billion in December. Its chatbot, Grok, is integrated into Musk’s social network, X. Musk claims the upcoming Grok 3 model outperforms rivals.
xAI is also negotiating a $5 billion server deal with Dell.
Investors include BlackRock, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, and Middle Eastern sovereign funds, alongside tech firms like Nvidia and AMD Ventures.
