DoorDash has launched a creator programme, allowing users in 20 U.S. cities to apply to post short-form videos of local restaurant meals. Creators will be compensated if their content qualifies, though details of monetisation remain undisclosed. The scheme will expand to more cities by year-end.
The company also introduced “Going Out,” a feature offering in-store rewards at thousands of restaurants in the U.S. and Australia. Initially exclusive to DashPass members, it is temporarily available to all users. Reservations can also now be booked directly through the app via SevenRooms integration.
Additionally, DoorDash unveiled new AI tools, including personalised homepage recommendations, checkout cart suggestions, and smart menu tags such as vegetarian, gluten-free, or high-protein. These features are available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with expanded shopping options beyond food.
